Welcome to 787 Fishing in Puerto Rico with Captain Marcos Hanke:

We invite you to experience over 15 years of local fishing knowledge aboard the 22' and 26' fully rigged fishing boats of the 787 Fishing fleet. Captain Marcos Hanke's formal education in Marine Biology will show you another dimension of fishing techniques and strategies to catch gamefish such as Tarpon, Snook, Bonefish, Permit, False Albacore, Kingfish, Jacks and other exciting caribbean gamefish. Both boats are fully equiped with conventional, spinning and fly fishing tackle to cover the many fishing opportunities available off Puerto Rico's pristine northeast coast.

This area produces multiple species of offshore gamefish that are only a short run from the marina. Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Tuna and Mahi Mahi are readily available at different times of the year in Puerto Rican waters. Inshore grand slams (tarpon/snook/bonefish) are also a real possibility year round just minutes from the marina. The diversity of lodging accommodations include from modest inns to the incredible "El Conquistador" Hotel just 2 minutes from the harbor.
